Devices
The IoTMADLab aims to evaluate the ease of integration of IoT devices from different manufacturers and municipal areas. To ensure compatibility with the IoT architecture chosen for the city of Madrid and/or the interoperability of the devices, the laboratory performs a series of tests, issuing the corresponding reports on the result of the tested functionalities. Devices with favorable reports are incorporated into the municipal catalog.
Pedestrian and vehicles counter
IoT device that integrates a camera with artificial intelligence for image processing and counting pedestrians and vehicles.
Irrigation controller
IoT device for monitoring and controlling irrigation systems. Measures soil temperature and humidity. Enables irrigation control by turning the solenoid valve on and off. Can include a flow meter for monitoring water consumption. 5V battery power supply. 6loWPAN and BLE communication.
Irrigation node
IoT device for monitoring and controlling irrigation systems. Measures soil temperature, humidity, and pH. Enables irrigation control by turning solenoid valves on and off. Includes flow meter for monitoring water consumption. Mains or battery powered. 6loWPAN communication and USB interface.
Energy Meter
Smart energy consumption meter for installation on a DIN rail in an electrical panel.
