IoTMADLab will participate in the Smart City Interoperability Test Event 2025

From October 22 to 23, 2025, the Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) will hold its first virtual smart city interoperability testing event: the Smart City Interoperability Test Event 2025. This test will bring together device manufacturers, solution developers, and public entities to validate implementations based on the OMA/uCIFI Smart City data model.
The main purpose of the event is to allow participants to verify that their devices and platforms comply with common standards and function correctly in real-world scenarios. Tests will cover areas such as energy and environmental monitoring, smart urban lighting, and water metering, and will serve to validate remote management functionalities and the compatibility of different IoT network technologies (NB-IoT, 6LoWPAN, Wi-SUN, TCP/IP).
This test not only enables technical validation but also fosters collaboration between stakeholders who could participate in future real-world urban deployments. Furthermore, as the first of its kind organized by OMA in this field, it marks a significant milestone for standardization in smart cities.
The IoTMADLab will participate in the Test Event to validate the integration of IoT devices from different sectors and manufacturers.
