Open Call for Participation in the Smart Irrigation Project Competition at Cuña Verde Park in La Latina
The winning project will receive an award of up to 50,000 euros for the development and implementation of the solution.
The Madrid City Council and the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), both members of IoTMADLab, are launching a project competition for the acquisition of a smart irrigation system at Cuña Verde Park in La Latina. This initiative, part of the “Madrid, Digital Capital” Strategy, is included in the European Govtech4All, project, which aims to adopt innovative technological solutions to enhance public services.
Smart, Sustainable, and Interoperable Irrigation Control
The goal of the competition is to find the best solution for implementing a smart irrigation system capable of remotely controlling and dynamically adjusting irrigation schedules based on environmental conditions. Additionally, the use of innovative IoT solutions will enable seamless integration with other municipal services.
Organizations interested in participating must submit a proposal that includes, among other sections, a detailed description of the solution, an implementation and sustainability plan, and a risk identification and mitigation strategy.
Applications, which may be submitted in Spanish or English, must be sent before February 23, 2025, to the following email address: concursoparques@cedint.upm.es.
